ItalyDocsHelper is designed with a zero-retention policy. All personal data you input is processed temporarily on your device and is automatically deleted when:

• You close the document
• You exit the App
• You navigate away from the document creation process

We do not retain any personal data on our servers.

While we do not store your data, we are committed to ensuring the security of the App itself:

• Privacy by Design: The App is built from the ground up with data protection principles
• Local Processing: All sensitive data processing occurs directly on your device

Camera Access

The app requests camera access to scan documents using OCR technology. Photos taken are processed immediately and are not stored on our servers.

Photo Library Access (Android 13+)

On supported Android devices (version 13 and above), the app uses the system photo picker, which does not require storage permissions. You select which specific photos to share, and they are processed locally without storage on our servers.

No Persistent Storage

Important: We do not request persistent access to your photos or videos. All access is one-time and for immediate processing only. Once the document is processed, the image data is discarded.

11. Children's Privacy

ItalyDocsHelper is not intended for use by children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

12. Firebase Analytics (Optional)

We may use Firebase Analytics to understand app usage patterns and improve user experience. This collects:

• Anonymous usage statistics (screens visited, features used)

Note: Firebase Analytics does NOT access or collect your document data or personal information you enter into forms.
